Girls night out. We had reservations but the two of us chose to sit at the bar as there was availability. Despite it being a Saturday night, the restaurant was only about 50% occupied. Both bartenders were very conversational which we loved. Cocktails were lovely. The appetizer could have come with more bread imho. My flank steak was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a very long time. My girlfriend’s shrimp and grits were unfortunately too spicy for her liking. The bread pudding was delicious but I would have liked just a bit more of the sauce with it. Would definitely return to try out other menu items. Street parking is never fun but we did find a decent space.

We went in on a weekday lunch and it was quiet for the duration. The place was airy and even better next to the Grand River! The drinks were good. The food was amazing. I do recommend the charcuterie board for a social time. That was really fun and yummy. We’ve never had wagyu before so we were really pleased to try it, and if they keep this on the menu, we’ll be pleased to come back. We enjoyed seeing the DJ booth for evening cocktails. Hope to be back for a dinner, drinks, and sunset session.

I've visited this restaurant a couple of times now and I absolutely love it. The vibe here is amazing. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, which is super helpful when you have questions about unfamiliar ingredients/dishes. I've visited for brunch both times, and it is a fairly smaller menu, but you will still find options, and it is vegetarian friendly. Their mixed drinks are excellent and super charged. The food is absolutely scrumptious! I love their French toast and seasoned potatoes, and their skirt steak is also cooked for perfection. That meat is very tender and flavorful. I recently discovered his gem and I can't wait to go back during summer time, since it is right on the river, I can only imagine how beautiful the outside patio view must be, and it looks like they also have live music. Needless to say, I will be back again soon, but this time, for dinner. Because that menu also looks amazing!

Tonight, my friend and I went to this place for the first time to celebrate our friendship of over 20 years. It was a busy night, but we were seated right away, which was great. Our waitress was amazing, really friendly and attentive. She made sure our drinks stayed full and cleared our plates quickly, and she even took the time to chat with us about why we were there. And the food? It was incredible. The mussels and wagyu flank were especially delicious; the combination of blue cheese and flank was mouthwatering. We were so impressed that we'll definitely be coming back with other family members to try it out.

Went here the other week. The hostess was super rude. She didn’t even say Hi or welcome in. Anyways, our server was great! The food was amazing. The drinks were tasty. We will def be back to try out more food. So many good options on the menu. Cool vibes.. there was a Dj playing chill music. We will be back

The atmosphere was good and the server was very accommodating. Food variety was good and all food tasted even better. There was a road construction in front and not much parking so we had to park blocks away but worth it.

Linear Restaurant right at the edge of the Grand River is a great place for a meal. Seating available indoors and patios either right by the restaurant or right by the river’s edge. The menu has an interesting and broad selection that accommodates a variety of dietary restrictions. The food was served fresh and delicious. Portions are a good size. Not so large you need to take some home or so small you leave hungry. Make a point of circling around to Linear.
